Out of high school, I joined the navy for three years. That got me GI bill benefits to go to college. I married Ruth in 68 and then graduated from the UW in 71 with a BSEE. I was an engineer at Pacific NW Bell for three years then transferred to their computer department where I started programming computers. I spent almost 10 years at PNB then went to work at Airborne Express after working a few months for a Para church organization. I've been at Airborne ever since (20 years). I've had my fingers in almost all of their computer systems and amazingly, they are still running. I've been living in the Seattle area since 68.
In 72 we adopted our first child from Korea, a daughter, Yvonne. Then in 74 our boy, Gabe, was born. In 74 I was also born again. Unfortunately Ruth left in 88. I finished raising the kids the best I could until they were either in college (Yvonne) or kicked out of the house (Gabe). After a few years Gabe got his act together and started working siding houses for various builders. He is now married and living in Renton (no kids yet). Yvonne graduated from the UW and is now working in sales at a hotel in Seattle.
In 92 I was teaching sign language class at my church when I met Terri. At the end of 93 we were married. In Nov of 94 Terri had a heart transplant operation and she is now doing quite well. She also introduced me to tap dancing so we've also been involved in that with yearly productions each year. Terri works part time at our church in Bothell.
