Hello Fellow Classmates :)
Hope all is well and everyone is in good health! It's planning time for our 50th! :)
The message pasted below is one I sent out to our classmates in the Quincy area. At least, I hope I sent out to everyone! :) It's self explanatory as to what is transpiring but, I wanted everyone to know.
Just so you can tentatively put on your calendar we are planning our 50th Class Reunion for Sept 2013 during the Traditional Quincy Farmer's Consumer Awareness Day! This is a great day as other classes will be doing the same so, a chance to see many of our former friends. We will keep everyone informed of exact date and any updates. (I think it's the 2nd weekend of Sept)
If you have any feedback/input feel free to contact me. As soon as we get this set up and certain people involved with the various tasks, we will let everyone know in case you need to contact that individual.
This is just the starting point. :) But, I wanted to get the ball rolling! Some of our classmates have already been working on it i.e., Ray Ruppert & Jerry Sorlien! :) I think Ray has set up a "blog site or, web site" which might make it easy for everyone to communicate with one another. Back to you w/ more info on that...it's above my "tech" expertise. lol

Hello "One & All" :)
It's time to get the ball rolling. :) I'm coming down to Quincy either the 1st or, 2nd weekend of November. I would like to know if anyone is available to get together and start the planning of this "big event"! :)
If you can get back to me and let me know your availability then I will pick one of those weekends from all the responses. Where can we meet? Is morning better or, afternoons? Saturday or, Sunday? Monday am? Obviously, we won't be able to meet everyone's schedules.
Topic's for discussion;
1. Do we want some sort of entry for the parade?
2. Meeting place at the field where everyone is present for the day's activities.
3. Late afternoon or, evening get together? Or, both? Where?
4. Breakfast next morning? Where?
5. Hotel accommodations for those attending from out of town.
6. Review our list of classmate's names, address, phone numbers
7. Anything else???
I am not "running this show" just trying to co-ordinate and get off the ground! :) So far, we have several people already working on this i.e., Ray Ruppert has put in a lot of time already. Both Ray and Jerry Sorlein have made phone calls. Thanks to both of you! If I have missed anyone, I apologize. Just know, everyone will appreciate your efforts.
It would be great to have a good turn-out for this initial meeting so we can make our 50th one to remember. :) Please feel free to contact me at this web site.
tks
